I have never actually tried to make an orange juice wine....
But I have always wondered what it would taste like.
Do you just follow a wine number one ? Or do you have a different recipe ??

Tonight, I finished off some pink grapefruit (glassfull)..
And now I have a glass of Beaverdale Pinot Grigio... this is fast becoming my favourite white !!
Although... I did bottle the Lychee from made from juice, not fruit, the other day... my goodness... I do believe that is in the running of being a favourite too

        • Vodka infused with black peppermint. at 10 months old, with no added sugar, it is delicious. the colourless bottle - stuffed with leaves - looks stunning too.

          • Drinking this tonight. Dry and crisp. Not bad at all... though the nose is somewhat lacking.

            • 2008 Cambria Pinot Noir. Really nice. Good body, kind of meaty, with a nose that smells exactly like this pipe tobacco my grandfather used to smoke. One of the best commercial Pinots I've had in quite awhile.

              • last years blackberry wines, identical but one made with GV2 and the other with sauternes. Prefer the latter, the former is a little harsh - only a little tho. This year trying it with GV1 for one batch and sauternes for another. Just gathering data!

                  • A little WinExpert Riesling Icewine.

Smells a bit vegetal, but this seems to be present in all the icewines I have tried. Very smooth though. Nice

                          Sounds nice Ric

Had some 2009 Cili, followed by some commercial Malbec from Tesco's. (Pretty sure the Cili was nicer)

                              • Tonight, I've opened a bottle of Vieux chateau du Roi I was given a while ago, then told to never drink it.

Recently the advise changed to it was passable. I'd like to confirm that it is indeed drinkable, and tastes quite pleasant.

                                Cheers Pete!!
