Just opened the last bottle of jam wine from July 09. This is the last bottle because I poured the rest down the sink. I must have well overdone the sg as it still tastes 'hot' although in a sherry like way rather than anything too potent.
I only kept this as an experiment to see how much improvement I'd see. It ok at best really.
I'll have to drink this big lad over two nights unless I want a hangover tommorow.Comment

I'm enjoying a bottle of guava number one. Remarkably pleasant too; especially as the guava juice was purchased for just 45p for the litre in Lidl. I made some water melon number one a while back and it nearly tore the back of my throat out - darned marvellous it was - but this is nice and mellow and relaxing. I may just try making more of this.
