      • Just trying a glass or maybe two of Beaverdale Merlot I think this will be ok in a couple of months but couldn't resist it. Its still in the fermenter by the way! john.

          • Mondavi Private Selection Pinot Noir. It was on sale for $6 (£3) at the local wine shop.

            Nice for the price.

                • SORRY just had a very nice bottle of parsnip wine and i must it was very very nice, My son-in- law who does not like parsnips liked it to (did not tell him it was parsnip)

                              • '07 Apple tonight (no elderflower).

                                On the advice of a friend (who makes some of the best apple wine I've had), I only used malic acid in it. I gave him a hard time about it at first, but now I really do think he was right.
