It was lovely. Havent had it in ages. It tastes exactly as you would expect it to. And they use real bananas as well!

Tea wine tonight vintage 2010 13.5% vol
and a of EDME lager

Tonight i am starting with Torrentta di Mondelli 2010 Nero D'Avola. A nice chewy sicilian red. 3 for £12 in Sainsbury's!

Last night: half a bottle of 08 Elderberry Port. VERY passable now - developing lots of fruit flavours, improved enormously.

This afternoon I have been checking carboys, tasting and sulphiting.

GF09 Merlot - still a bit stemmy, but quite rich now

GF10 Merlot - no stemminess - will be a better wine in time, but still a bit harsh

Winexpert Petit Verdot (+1 yr old) - I sincerely hope this improves, because it is very average at the moment

Kenridge PV/Cab Sav (1+ yr) - similar, but even less average

GF10 Tempranillo - a triumph

I have had a couple of glasses of a Lychee blush easy peesy version.
It was made with rubicorn lychee juice, and red grape juice.
Made iaw wine#1 instructions
Very lovely

and i will finish of with some tins of bud
my EDME lager is not ready until saturday.

Finishing off a bottle of Wollemi Shiraz Cabernet and getting jealous about grapefest.

Wollemi: The Wollemi Pine is one of the worlds oldest and rarest trees. Thought to be extinct, it was red-discovered in Australia in 1994.
