Initially it was a tin of "mackies" stout (straight out of the local tescos) and now it's a "horses neck" (brandy and ginger ale) while I peruse the forums

Women will never be equal to men until they can walk down the street with a bald head and a beer gut, and still think they are sexy.
A small bottle of chocolate raspberry port, having bottle the carboy full today. It's very nice, I'm quite tempted to get another one of these this year.

A glass of lockwood1956's Gewürztraminer (thanks Bob!).
I've never tried one before, and he asked me to post some tasting notes. He's asked the wrong person - it's a bit like asking Dale Winton to write a report on a game of Rugby League. Actually, that's a bad example .....
Interesting stuff - the colour of Red Bull. My instant impression was 'sherry'. Actually, a dilute, spicy sherry. Oranges maybe?? Apparently it is supposed to taste of Lychees, but I've never encountered one, so I guess this is what Lychees taste of . Pretty intense - a couple of glasses was enough for me in one sitting.
Serve with: dark chocolate Toblerone
Right Bob, how do I go about making this myself?

Check out the recipe section for Lychee wine. It's not a bad copy. My latest batch I pressed the lychees to try and get some more flavour out of them, hopefully it won't effect it clearing!
...so how do you pre-order one? It's just up my husbands alley this, he'd be thrilled with it as a pressie for Xmas...
Ask at your local, or mail order shop that stocks Winexpert products.
www.Brewgenie.co.uk does, if you ring their Hall Green shop Tuesday to Friday and speak to Paul He's the owner and a very nice chap. He'll even give you a small discount if you mention the this forum and Bobs name.
