Well, I guess nobody has had anything to drink for the past week
Tonight, I are be mostly drinking a Marks & Spencer Australian Shiraz. Why? Because a) it was in the cupboard, and b) it's Thursday.
Not good. When I drink a Shiraz I expect something fruity. I think this one is a bottle of tannin. I'll force it down, though.Pete the Instructor

More of the home mixed absinthe
Considering how strong a tasting drink it is - even mixed with double the quantity of water, is quite addictive.
I've put in an order with the "mad Pole" for a case of the nutty vodders so I can get plenty mixed up for crimbo.
Ah well, where did I put that glass.

Tongiht has been quite long.. Started with a bottle of Lychee wine, (the oaked version) aged a month or so it's not too bad! That went well with fish and chips. (between 2 of us..)
Followed by half a bottle of California Coni Cab Sav.
Topped off towards the end of the night with some black cherry port. (and some marmite and cheddar on jacobs crackers)
