Tonight.. Started with some Pacific Quartet with dinner. Then a bottle of Heron Bay Gurty with some friends.. Now opened a bottle of second run Rose

At dinner with Stinky & co, a bottle of rhubarb & ginger (interesting ) and a bottle of the Rioja kit with Grenache skins on (will be fab if I can keep my paws of it).

Ah, well in my case, I've caved in - because after me bowl of chilli 'n rice, I decided that I needed some duff!

Nothing sweet in the house. So it was "raid the fridge" time for the cheapo tesco's stilton (value range @ 20 pence per 25kg) and of course you can't have "the old blue and stinky" without a drop of the red stuff.

A ............(hang on, just going to get the empty bottle)..................

it was a 2006 Rioja "Castillo Labastida" (Ha! that's what I call my boss sometimes, but with out the "Castillo" bit ).

And despite having tried to immerse myself in learning "grape nutters" wine terminology etc, I still haven't worked out whether it's actually any good......drinkable, that's about all I could say.

Where I got it from ? bu99ered if I know. probably a "donation" from somewhere.
