            Oooo... sounds very nice.

I had some Epoisses, which goes nice with Pinot. I knew it would be good as soon as I opened the package and heard my daughter say "OH. MY. GAWD. What is that smell?"

                      • I found a 20 month old screwtop bottle of Wine No.2.

I was expecting it have to pour it down the drain, but I was really quite good (and I'm not a fan of Wine no.2).

                        • I'm drinking bottling leftovers. The Shiraz tastes pretty good (and somewhat high in alcohol it would seem ).

                              • lol at beary, i often wondered about doing the very thing you advise against

in my glass tonight, green tea & ginger, a whole year old, i'm getting good at this as i often seem to be mentioning a brew thats a year old! ... and i am slightly upping my quantities this year. anyway the wine is dry and strong but tastey nonetheless. but this years effort ... about 1 % abv less should be better.
