Well, it looks like nobody has had a drink for the past week.
I did a bit of bottling today, so we've had the bits which won't fit in the bottles - a drop of a cheap white kit (drinkable I suppose) and some Beaverdale Barolo (very nice).
Oh, and a bottle of Wine No.1, which has definitely benefited from being forgotten about for a month or so.

very nice example of Pinot, a little lacking in fruit for me ideally, and a little too earthy, but nice stuff, and quite complex on the mid palate, a little smoky even in the finish.
worth the £8 I paid for it?........NO

I'm drinking a pretty decent 06 cabernet sauvignon.......................................we ll...... not to be too demure about it...I think its bloody fab......I think I'm getting the hang of this winemaking mallarkey
