I'm now sat at Goldseal's house, drinking home made fizzy. Could be a long night!!

We'll keep you updated I'm sure on how the tasting goes.

Fizzy : modified No 1 recipe, bit of sweetner, it's quite good! A touch too sweet for me, but it's going down well

It's a bit too sweet for me too, but the bottle is now empty

Now drinking Rich's 07 Montepulciano. This is really good. He is OBVIOUSLY a better winemaker than me. Looks light but tastes heavier. Fruity, easy to drink. Excellent.

        Rich's Cilegiolo ....

Light in colour. Maybe a Rosé with lots of flavour and tannin.

I like it. Currently in the fridge to try it chilled.

Now drinking Alyson's Ciliegiolo, much darker in colour than mine. Very good nose, tastes good too. Tastes maybe of dark berries, and reasonably tannic. very good, considering it has no added anything (no oak, added tannins etc)

            Mistake - opened Sangiovese Rosé.

Tastes like water compared to the reds.

We need to drink something else in the interim, so ...

back to Rich's Cilegiolo - now chilled in the fridge. works really well.

                  We quit shortly after.

There were another 6 bottles to be tasted, but for the good of our heads and livers we decided to leave them for another time.
