  • There is something missing from my house ...

    .... fermenters

Due to a combination of too much work, no time, moving my office to another room etc etc, I have nothing fermenting at the moment.

I realised this is the first time this has happened since last June.

    My house doesn't sound right.

We'll see to that at the weekend then Pete.

I've found 2 jars of Billberries in the cupboard, I'll bring those too. And some yeast, and anything else i come across tomorrow whilst tidying up.

I too have nothing fermenting, or bulk ageing. It's now all bottled . Down to 6 empty carboys, there is at last some space on the bench!! No room in any wine racks, not quite sure where todays bottling run will be going in the morning.

Unless your hydrometer is in a sterilising solution, I dont know how you can sleep at night !!
Insecure people try to make you feel smaller.

Confident people love to see you walk taller

It's a collaborative effort between Rich and I:

2 jars of Bilberries in syrup
1 can out-of-date Solvino red grape concentrate
1 bottle Ritchies red grape concentrate
                      5 tsp tannin
approx 2lb of frozen grape skins (either Grenache or Sangiovese, the label had fallen off)
                      sugar to 1.090
                      2tsp Tronozymol
                      71B yeast

                      It's already down to 1.020

I'm surprised about the mangos too.

                          Normality has been restored:

5 gal Raspberry Merlot, 5gal Dolcetto, 5 gal Riesling, 2 x 1 gal Wine No.1, 1 gal Mango surprise and Mrs. G's Pinot Grigio all bubbling away, wine kit all over the house.

                          Situation normal
