These Lychees seem to be very shy, went to local Morrisons this morning, but they stated that they hadn't seen any for a while. Am going on an expedition to the nearest Tesco, about ten miles away, will ask the local guide ( young lady stacking the shelves ) if any have been seen lurking abou nearby..
just picked 4lb bramble and 2 stone of elderberries. took 15 mins to pick and 21/2 hours to destalk god knows how long to steam. brambles are finishing but rosehips looking good as quite liked the bottle i tried from last years

What did you do with the rosehips? we have loads right outside the front door, just wasn't really too sure what to do with them.
Tonight after work and tomorrow night aster tasting at blacker hall farm shop will be big clean up.....ready for the ton of Tempranillo and Grenache grapes arriving on Sunday (after I have judged at Lincoln #Fed show)
yikes, just thought,my bottles aren't ready for the comp!!!
It will all aid preparation for grapefest which is a week later
