Troublesome trip (again)

Hi all from snow bound Germany

flew in from stansted yesterday on the 6.25am flight...

we were 10 minutes from landing when the pilot came on and said we wouldn't be landing at Lubeck as the runway was closed due to heavy snow, and we would be landing in Bemen (2.5 hours away)

well, they eventually put us on a bus for the journey, in blizzard conditions to Hamburg bus station, and then on to Lubeck, i had the misfortune to be surrounded by a large gang of squeeling teenage girls....miracle i didnt stab one of them (there were no spare seats)

got to lubeck, and boy they have had a lot of snow....I;m due to fly back tomorrow morning at 9.20, but i just cant see that happening!

Strange how they complain that its being run by a couple of individuals, yet they turn immediately to us when things go wrong with the tiny jobs that they are entrusted with

Hi all, just talked to Bob from the Luebeck Airport, and he asked me to update this space. The flight is on time, they are expected to depart any minute now. So, I expect he will be at wine circle tonight.

He's been a super-trouper throughout all this. I'm very lucky to have such a wonderful partner in life. To travel 12 hours to be able to spend 36 with me is something that not everyone gets to experience. It's wonderful, and so is he.
