Inspiral Carpets. Underrated, should have been far more successful than they were.

Tonight, i'm indulging in a guily pleasure of mine - a bit of Early 90's Euro. More specifically, it's a bit of U96 on the menu - Love Sees no Colour. Das boot and World in Motion to follow.........

set the media player to a bit of a medley of queued tracks, including

                Marilyn Manson - mOBSCENE
                MM - Personal Jesus
                Various Morrisey/Smiths
                A couple of Cranberries tracks
John Lee Hooker - Boom Boom Boom
some "Carter USM" (Glam Rock Cops, Road to Domestos, Taking of Peckham 321)...

some very mellow, yet "bouncy" music for surfing.......

Our Lady Peace & 3 Doors Down, some good rock. Davey Francey, "on the banks by the seaway", just a lovely song. He's a Scot but singing a song about an area of Canada.

I may be getting to be a bit of a baldy auld hoar but still firmly rooted in rock. The Mrs. always asks "when ya going to grow out of that"..... as I have the volume cranked while doing an important job like degassing.

The Ramones - All the Stuff and More. A best-of single CD with 33 tracks on it.

Everything sounds like it has been knocked up in 5 minutes, the drummer is even less imaginative than that bloke from Pendulum, and the vocals sometimes border on the Vic Reeves club-singer style. In short, excellent

It falls into the ''so bad it's good' category.
