  • English Wines Competition 2011

    Hello All,

Next year (2011) will be the East Anglia Wine Growers turn to host the English Wines Competition. This will be hosted in June at Bury StEdmunds, Suffolk. There is talk of opening the event on the last day (for a nominal fee) to the public, this will be a chance to taste some of over 500 English wines submitted to the competition. Would there be anyone interested? We are just putting the feelers out to see if there are any takers.

    Regards

    Dale (Clayhill)

Will they categorize according to level of production?

I'm not sure at this point....the MVA categorize as "Pro vineyard and vineyard for fun"

that's not how they describe it exactly, but that's what they mean
