        The mixed fruit in the milk bottle is fascinating
        me.
        the pulp/gunk keeps rising to the top with the bubbles then falling..just like a lava lamp.

        I know I know...I must get out more

              Ya those volcanic eruptions along with the bubbling of the s tube air lock is quite relaxing - sitting back reading the latest wine book and watching and listening to the fermentation process and each bubble means the enjoyable elixir is being made. Cheers DAW

                    as these are my first attempts,I will be bulk aging them in the DJ's for at least 1, possibly 2 days

                      1 or 2 days That's my sort of ageing!

                      Actually, last night I shared a bottle of my Heron Bay merlot around, it'd been bottle aged for nearly 2 weeks and was tasting better than what I've got in the wine box (wine box is nearly empty now)
