Oh what do those sots know about wine?

The Trebbiano and Sangiovese are still quite young aren't they?

The Trebbiano is 06, so still quite new yes.
the peach just has a hint of bitterness, that I hadn't detected till we were drinking it afterwards, I was chatting with a (different) judge and he pointed it out, says he thought it was probably due to the peaches being over-ripe (they were very ripe indeed)

The sangio is 05, and shaping up nicely (but still needs another year I think) The Corvino(05) I love and have almost run out, but they werent used

I'm hoping to win a prize with the corvino so I can get Tim Vandergrift (technical services manager for Winexpert) to send me a new kit

              For those that don't know
Winexpert will give you a new kit if one of your kit wines wins at a comp

but hey ho better luck on saturday hopefully......

                  Well.....fingers (and everything else) crossed

Just looking forward to finding out how it all works, and getting the measure of what is required.

I volunteered to steward for the weekend, but my volunteering may have been too late (last night) but if they are desperate.....

Sir Robert - send a bottle of Sangiovese to the USA care of me, and I'll give you an official Spokane Certificate of approval aka quasi Wine Spectator rating of 96. I can also throw in a gold star and an A+, ha ha. Go for it.
