I was thinking of coming up your parts for a show one day, maybe even enter a bottle or two

More for the experience than anything.

that would be great, give me a shout when you do, we can maybe organise for you to steward also, that's a great way to learn, and of course we sit around and talk about winemaking all day

yeah saw that, but i see it is a weekend thing - i can come up saturday night and leave sunday day time - can't do the friday night to saturday

the competition is saturday through the day, so you would miss out on that, but would get the social evening, the next one after that i think would be doncasters show all day saturday event
after that would be Yorkshire fed show (june) and after that (july) is Telford
