Ok, I've spoken to Bob about this, so hence the post.
In 2 weeks time, we're due to be visiting the Lancastrian relatives.
So as there will be some space in the car, I was intending (if they're wanted) too cram as many of the half gallon DJ's in as I can.
Obviously, I can't say how many I can fit into the car (a 2 door BMW compact), but if there's a few "I'll have some" type answers, then we can work out how/where to meet up to collect.
We'll be staying in Heysham, which I know, would mean crossing the Pennines for "the Yorkshire massive", but it's a hell of a lot closer than the South Coast.
I have PM Scott, but not received an answer whether he's interested or not (afterall, he's already somewhere in Lancashire).
As before, they do need washing, but seem to clean up great with a little bleach, soap and a final rinse with some citric acid solution to remove any water marks/calcified deposits.
I was thinking in the region of 30 pence a piece or 2 for 50p. Though I doubt whether any reasonable offer would be turned down (so no they won't be going back south, unless they're in a recycling wagon).
I'm guessing that I can get between 50 and a 100 in the car.
Anyone interested ?
regards
JtFB
p.s. I know that there are likely to be others passing vaguely in my normal direction over the summer, but there's probably gonna be plenty left - don't forget, the job lot I got, was just over 400 of them
