Lidl fruit juices !

Asked the missus to get me some grape and apple juice for the wine number one.

They are fom Lidl with a lot of foreign writing so wondering if anyone has used them ?

The apple is ' vitafit ' and says ' from concentrate '

The grape is solevita red grape juice. 100 % grape.

Should be fine im sure, aslong as there's no preservatives in them.

I find asda/tesco will be your best bet though, can get the 1l of apple for about 58pence (or slightly more for the "better" stuff, still under a quid though) and the grape is about 90p i think, can't go wrong with them really.

With the apple and red grape, you'll end up with a slightly pink coloured rose wine.

I have not used the apple juice from Lidl...
But I have used the red grape juice...
But I used it in Wine number 2
Chuffin Nora, was that a tasty little number

Yes... I was in there today, and they have reduced it to 65p a litre...
Although, I think Asda has theirs at that price now too.

I wish Lidl did white grape juice

Apple juice from lidl is fine to use, i used it to make half pear and apple cider last year, it was great stuff, the cider i mean.

Here is my recipe you wanted for pear and apple cider and its dead easy, i got 3 litres of apple juice from lidl and 2 litres of cloudy pear juice, i put 3 lts of apple in a clean demi and 1 tsp of multi purpose yeast and gave it a good shake,left it for a couple days with airlock bubbling away and then topped it up to top of demi with the pear juice then left it to fement out.Then i cleared it with finning. told you it was easy. Added a spoonfull of sugar to each bottle as i bottled it. I left it a month and it was great.
