I'm looking into it
not joking...going to try to find other suppliers, so we will have more options.
the reality is, if more of us sign up, we can maybe organise our own wagons to come overN.G.W.B.J.

wow!
grapefest in 6 weeks
OK preliminary stuff...
Brian (Peterborough) is bringing in Reds only (cilieguilio, sangiovese, Montepulciano....and "perhaps" Merlot!!!!) very keen to use Brian as he will be our future supplier, as mr Howgego is heading for retirement
We can either get whites from David Howgego on the same weekend (a bit of a pain for me) or do the whites in October when the Seyval "may" be available, the seyval is still in negotiations, but we would likely need to take a lot of it (2.5 to 3 tons) however I'm talking to some vineyards up here, who I might be able to offload some of the seyval onto.
No news on pricing just yet, but the Euro is strong, so likely a bit more than last year, but same deal grapes at what they cost me, plus £1 for shipping (van hire diesel etc)
your thoughts please....N.G.W.B.J.

right, well my presence is still on a definite maybe basis Bob, I'll need to smooth talk the boss closer to the time....
If I can make it, then it'd be red grapes for me........ not really into the subtleties of whites etc.....

I was planning on roughly equal quantities of white and red, but I'm not the one who has to drive to London to get them!
White would be great, but I'll go with the flow.
Definitely on for some Merlot.Pete the Instructor
