Hi Bob, and Glenvall.Met you folks on another site, and thought maybe I could learn something here also.
I make mostly country fruit, wild types of wine.
Wild black raspberry is my favorite, blackberry, tart cherry[excellant], blueberry, strawberry, rhubarb[good stuff].wild grape.I have done a few liquors, wild balckraspberry and blueberry. Also muscat and concord.
Just bottled my year old rhubarb, strawberry, and will be bottling the cherry today.
I have used oak and mesquite is now my regular wood added at the beginning of fermentation, and stays in to my taste.
I am an avid bowhunter, harley rider, arrowhead collector[I am a digger],thats where the good artifacts are, fishing, and am now to old to trap, but trapped for about 50 years.
So hi to you all, and hope to keep learning this wine thingy! Tom

I surely hope not. That would mean that some fermentation took place in the bottle.
