i have just ordered the dolcetto.
its my 40 wedding aniversary in 2011 so will keep some for then.

Appologies to all who have ordered the Dolcetta kits, apparently they are not available in the UK until late May/early June, as you are aware I have contacted you all individualy to explain. Everyone will still recieve them just a few weeks later than anticipated.
Although if anyone else is interested NOW is the time to order, as with the other limited kits please let me know before ordering, as they are much more limited and to order than I first thought.

Well I'm impressed, as most of you will know the Winexpert Limited Edition kits arrived today. They have all been booked for Monday's collection and all being well a Tuesday delivery for all.
As being the first to receive one I thought I would let you all know what to expect.
1. 16 ltrs of pure juice, meaning just a mere 7 & 1/2 ltrs of water to add, so the style of wine is going to be exactly what it states it is...yum
2 Two packs of oak (Dolcetto), could be wrong but looks like American white oak which is fantastic stuff.
3. The usual condiments, such as bentonite, sulphite, sorbate & finings.
4. One thing I was impressed with was the yeast sachet, it is a Red Star Premier Cuvee, which is a US/Canadian equivalent of our Gervin & Lalvin yeasts.
5. Also there is a very professionally produced set of 30 bottle labels in with each kit, must admit they look rather dapper.

One thing I was impressed with was the yeast sachet, it is a Red Star Premier Cuvee, which is a US/Canadian equivalent of our Gervin & Lalvin yeasts.

This yeast was also included in the Mezza Luna Red that I made last year, I was quite surprised at this, was expecting the usual Lalvin stuff.
