  • Rose rose'?

    I have a recipie for a rose' rose wine using grape concentrate. But does anyone have any recipies for a similar wine using grape juice from supermarket cartons of grape juice? any ideas welcome.

    Make a wine No1 and add the rose petals at the end of fermentation, at around SG 1.020, you wont need too many rose petals, maybe a fistfull

      or you could replace the white grape juice for red grape juice in the wine number one recipe.

      i've made this a number of times now and makes a very good rose

      i suppose you could always add petals too for the full on rose rose effect

        Dried rose petals are available from home brew stores too, they work just fine.

        (on a side note, dried elderflowers dont...they add bitterness)
