What's is the difference between sodium metabisulphite and potasium metabisulphite?

Bought a new pot of sulphite at the hbs last week, without really reading the label, and it's potasium. does this make any difference?

No

Sodium Metabisulphite (Na-Meta) is about 8% to 13% more effective than Potassium Metabisulphite (K-meta) but they are pretty much interchangeable
