  • Sediment

I was getting my wines ready for the Doncaster comp yesterday (should have done it earlier) and noticed sediment in the white wine. This wine had previously been filtered and was perfectly clear at bottling time in September. I emptied the wine into demi johns and filtered it again then re-bottled it. It looks and tastes good but where could the sediment have come from?

I am on night shift this weekend but will be able to monitor the forum for news about the Donny event. COME ON PONTE!

It certainly has been subjected to plenty of cold over the winter.
