  • Who needs blu tak

Just transfered my Blackberry from the PF, I made extra for topping up at racking time.
This is in a 1/2 gal DJ with the narrower neck

the bung that fits is an optic bung

unfortunately the hole in it is too big for an airlock and I had been advised to use blu tak to seal it..

Then I had the idea of using a PET bottle grommit

it was a tight fit but it went in far enough

    this was the end product

    I wish I was a glow worm
Cos a glow worm's never glum
    It's hard to be unhappy

Cracking job Zeb, thanks for sharing. Karl uses optic corks on the 3 gallon water containers but uses PTFE tape to get a proper seal around the airlock. This is a much neater/simpler job, well done!
