  • Topping up after racking?

    I`ve just racked a gallon of rose, and found that it has come a bit short. It has just come up to the shoulders of the DJ. My question is, what is the best thing to do?
    1. Top up with water? cold or warm after boiled?
    2. Top up with wine?

    cheers for any help!

    Topping up with wine is the preferred option, but topping with water is fine too, adding this amount of water (1/2 pint or so) wont affect the wine that much.
