    My latest invention

    Take one of these PET bottle tops…




    With a Stanley knife(or saw) cut the top bit off




    Insert one of these….




    And you get this…




    Insert airlock




    This fits all the screw top wine bottles I’ve tried

    And it fits all the various sized PET bottles I’ve got

    IMO it’s the ideal thing for fermenting the extra must made for topping up at racking time
    I wish I was a glow worm
    Cos a glow worm's never glum
    It's hard to be unhappy
    When the sun shines out your bum

              Great thinking Zeb. I'm in Canada, so different products seem to be available. I have a couple of #3 drilled bungs that fit PET pop bottles, and hopefully some #2 drilled bungs that fit glass wine bottles.
