Steve, i have just finished a 2 gallon batch of blackcurrant tea bag wine. It is quite dark, but i`m sure it will be a deep rose when it is bottled. I used a 40 pack of tea bags for this, but i got 2 gallon from it. If you were just making 1 gallon the recommend amount of tea bags to use is around 20 you could always use a few less. I must say it is a simple recipe, and the wine looks and smells great. I cant wait to bottle and sample it!

Or try the rasperry, cranberry and elderflower recipe here, but add white grape juice instead of red.Discount Home Brew Supplies

Steveb Tell me what did the fruit tea bags wine taste like was it OK
What were the finale ingredients?
Some friend and myself have a evening every now and again, each bring a bottle of wine and we try to guess what it is made of, your tea wine might be a winner

I make quite a few of the rose type tea bag wines, and without exception have found them all to be delicious.
As a rule of thumb, if you like the aroma of the tea bags as they steep in boiling water, then you will most likley like the flavour of the finished wine.
Good luck, but I don't think you'll be disappointedHRH Her Lushness
