  • Clear/Cloudy/Clear

I made a Kiwi & Strawberry, clear, wonderfull colour and taste.
I put a bottle in the fridge and it went very cloudy after taking it out and leaving for about 2-3 hours it clears back to normal.
    The taste does not change.
Any comments please as I only have 1 bottle left so need to do more but don't want the same happening again.

Any wine that is to be chilled before serving should be cold stabilized before bottling. By not doing so, there's a chance your wine can throw tartrate crystals whenever it's refrigerated.

The easiest way to do this is to put the DJ or carboy in an area that's colder than the temperature you are likely to serve it at, for example, a porch or garage in the middle of winter. Leave it in this area for two or three weeks. You may see some tartaric acid crystals form on the bottom and sides of the container. After that, bring the container inside and immediately rack it while still cold, thus leaving the tartrate crystals behind. Problem solved.
