I have just had a look online for some sparkle tops but is seems they are now out of production. Is there another version or brand of these? I would love to have a go at making something fizzy!

I don't know of an alternative but I still have a set of them from way back

You cannot get the sparkle tops new any more, but keep an eye out on ebay, they pop up every so often...
you can buy 29mm crown caps that go on champagne bottles, you can also get little plastic cups that fit in the neck of the bottle to make disgorging easierN.G.W.B.J.
