Well I can't say for certain flower.............

Did you do all the usual checks i.e. gravity, pH, TA, etc etc ?

Only I'm thinking along the lines of that if the blackberries didn't have a great amount of taste to start with i.e. no depth of flavour (a bit like supermarket ones that look great but don't have much flavour) etc then it might be that you'd have had to use more of them.

Personally I'm in the habit of over doing it, fruit-wise with a lot of fruit/country type wines as I like them to have a reasonable amount of fruitness.

Maybe you have the provenance of the original recipe ??

Or maybe, you could do something like putting it back into a DJ, making sure it's stabilised so it won't restart fermenting and then add a can of blackberry concentrate to "beef up" the blackberry part of the flavour.

I mean, it might be that the recipe you've used happens to turn out like that, or that if it's your preference to have more of a fruity taste, it might be that the alcohol is "over shadowing" it (the blackberry part of the flavour).

Sorry if that sounds like I'm "grasping at straws" to try and help, but............well I am
