by following your instructions lockwood, at bottom of page one it says..Here it is 24 hours later, you can see it clearing, and notice the lees building up at the base of the DJ, once it has fallen clear we will rack again.

Did you rack at this stage? because by the next step on page two its like 15 days later till you racked to degass?

just want to make it right thats all?

it's just the way the posting dates have gone..

on the first racking , once the lees has fallen clear , move onto the next stage , re racking and de gassing.. times will vary with each person i expect..

my first racking fell crystal clear in about 5 days but i had it next to my back door which is cold..

my second racking/de gassing produced no sediment at all .. yours may or may not..

I racked it after ferment was over, and then again after it had fallen clear


Just because the timeline on the thread is 15 days later, it doesn't mean that's when it happened....that's just when the pictures were posted.
