The Best Elderberry

Hi folks. I have browsing through the recipe part of the forum and have found many different recipes for Elderberry wine.

I am hoping to start a couple of gallons over the next couple of days and was wondering if anyone could really recommend a recipe that they have tried and tested as it were.

I made a batch last year but it wasn't too special if I am honest. Maybe I should have aged it a bit more but too late now.
So friends, if anyone has a good recipe for a nice drinkable Elderberry wine, I would truly appreciate it.

I am also very keen to have a bash at the CNdP recipe I found on this forum too. Anyone made it?

Yes, I made it last year. I bottled it last September.
I tasted it about 6 months ago... but decided that it need a few months more to age.
I will open a bottle tonight, and let you know how it is now

Well....
Its much better than the last bottle I opened, which was very drinkable... but I do think another few months wont do it any harm.
