I was thinking of making and elderberry wine but i wanted to put something with it this year. I was thinking of putting some raspberries with them anyone got an other ideas or recepies i am thinking of elderberry picking this weekend

2lb elderberries
2lb blackberries
1/4 lb raspberries
should make a very fruity wine, might work better also as an off dry wine.
raspberries can have a tendency to dominate wines they are in, so best to go easy with them.N.G.W.B.J.

I made an apple and elderberry wine a couple of years ago... was more like a dark rose, than a red. Nice Recipe was from this forum, if I remember correctly

It was more elderberry flavour than apple.
Initially I was a bit disappointed, as I had hoped for a darker red wine, but after a good few months it was a nice wine
