Having fiddled about with this problem for a while I think I might just have a simple solution.
Objective:
Refill bag in a box containers without opening them. Or put another way - be able to recycle them many times, like glassware.
Solution:
Cut the rubber tap connectors off a cheap 'sink tap shower' kit. Carefull to remove all the hose and fittings from rubber fitting leaving it 100% intact.
The smaller end fits PERFECTLY over the BiaB tap. The larger end locates a funnel very nicely.
Method
Lay box on it back. Do not open (no need)
Fit rubber connector and funnel.
Support with hand while pressing the lugs to open the valve.
Flush with Sulphite (or vodka)
Empty
Fill with vino.
Burp it (bit like a hot water bottle)
Finally raise the tap end, gently shake to get the last air out.
Remove funnel and suck gently until the wines come back.
Release lug.
Done!!
Notes
If you want to be really accurate 1 liter weighs 1 KG - fill it by weight!
You might want to think about s02 levels!
