I made a No1 wine up,with apple and grape juice, then added a couple of teaspoon fulls when the sg dropped to 1020.... wait and see now how it turns out??
Everybody should believe in something -- I believe I'll have another drink....
If these are dried elderflowers I tried (against Bobs advice) to use these in an elderflower wine (wn1 + 2tsp dried elderflowers).
In short, should have listened to Bob. They do have the bouquet but leave a bitter finish in the mouth. Maybe more useful as an adjunct to a hoppy bitter!
good luck

I'm not keen on the bitter aftertaste dried elderflowers leave in a wine....but I wonder if you made a syrup with them, and used this to backsweeten, if it might not improve things
worth a try I reckon.
better still, collect the sweet smelling elderflowers in the spring and make a stock of elderflower syrup and use that for sweetening or adding bouquet to finished wines
