hmmm, made up a 10% suphite solution tonight with 100 grams from a new bag of Richies Sodium Meta and topped up to one litre for my spray bottle. Bit concerned as I did not get the usual neck snapping reaction when I gave it a sneaky sniff (you all do it, I know you do 
) It is a newly opened bag well within use by date. The solution makes the usual mess when sprayed on a black worktop (swmbo out for the evening, must remember to clean up.)
Anyone else had this? Solution made with cold water in a glass jug then decanted into spray bottle when powder dissolved. Safe to use do you think?
