I've just added my yeast starter to my Solaris white must.
This morning I've picked a couple of kilos of blackberries and would like to make from from that, however I am out of yeast.
Does anyone know if I can use a bit of the grape juice as a starter for the blackberry wine once it gets going? If so, do I take a bit, add water and sugar to being the SG up to reasonable level and leave it for 24 hours?
It'll be a few days before I can get any more yeast and these balackberries are very very ripe and I don't want to freeze them.
Thanks.
