Hi All, like many of you, I have only a limited number of bottles, and some of those came from friends. Today, I was bottling a red kit wine, and I have used nearly all my bottles, so this means scrabbling around those I have been given. Some of the bottles have visible dirt inside, and despite soaking in hot water and detergent, they are still dirty. I know Bob advises against bleach, but what else can I do to get them properly clean? Thanks for any help.

225 litres would be overkill. Maybe a friend or a friend of a friend knows a trucker or bus/coach driver locally and could snag you half a pint or so ?Women will never be equal to men until they can walk down the street with a bald head and a beer gut, and still think they are sexy.
