Really you can drink any red wine kit immediately after bottling. The problem is that it will be young tasting. When I ran a Ferment on Premises, the KenRidge Classic Merlot was the most popular kit. Most of my customers were very happy drinking this wine by a month in bottle. I felt that it definitely improved after 3-4 months, but that is still within your time frame.
