  • Finings

I made two one gallon white wine number 1 in separate demijohns. After fermentation finished I racked both into a bucket, degassed and then syphoned back into demijohns. I then added wilkos a and b finings and one wine is clear after 24 hours and the other is still cloudy after 3 days. Why would this be?

Were these identical all the way through?

In constitution these wines are different and its showing...

Has it burst back into life? still fermenting - how did you degas it? What is SG?

The wines were identical and racked into the same bucket so when transferred back into demijohns it was definitely identical!

I degassed in bucket for 20 mins with wine wand thingy.

Added finings to both and like I said one crystal clear one cloudy!

      Gravity is 0.992
