    Also their is wine sweetner available from HB suppliers, which I believe gives a set scale of sweetner per ltr for med, med/sweet, sweet. You may find this easier, I know Wilkinsons sell it for a couple of quid max.

        If you can get hold of some liquid Glycerine this maybe a better option as it will not only sweeten the wine but also take off any edge to the wine and make it alot smoother.
