Just tried my first beetroot wine ive ever made (started last october),the colour has changed from a dark red after second racking to an allmost golden colour (i used darkened bottles,green). Nice and clear with a taste that is nothing like beetrot when used as a vegetable ?? is this normal it certainly tasts alcoholic with a taste that reminds me of scented fushas(if you know what i mean) quite pleasant.
