Hi, Just finished the last of the Malbec tonight.
I thought it was very good.
Its the first time I have tried the Kenridge showcase kits. They have all the good bits in the kits, 16 litres of concentrate ,Lalvin yeast, 2 types of Oak one of which is toasted, & the best labels I have ever seen for bottling included in the kit.
I would give it a 9/10 for taste & quality.
This would be my second choice kit after my favorite which is the Selection Chilean Cab-Sav.
The Kenridge showcase kit is about £5 cheaper so I will certainly be trying them again.

PS I have saved a couple of bottles for the national & have high hopes for them.

Hey up Paul, I am on the look out for a decent Cab Sauv kit, might try the Selection one. I have not made a Kenridge kit yet but might get one on in the new year. The Pinot Noir Bob made is sublime stuff, it is 3 years old though.

I got round to ordering some more kits. A WineExpert Woodbridge Cab Sauv and a Kenridge NZ Pinot Noir will be making their way to me soon.

How did these turn out ? I think Malbec and Carmenere are my favorite wines that i have discovered.

                    Looking for a good kit?

Sorry didn't realise this thread was so old!

Don't worry, it's not a problem, ask Bob - he once replied to one that was about a year old. (Sorry, Bob)

Anyway, far better to reply to an old thread than start another on the same subject.

Yeah, didn't we add about 10 pages to that one in about an hour?

Yeah, that was a fun night if I remember rightly.

And it was all good sensible stuff too!
