    help i just made a beaverdale chardonnay 6 bottle and just looked in the box it came in and i have forgot to put the chitosan in the wine looks really clear so do i still need to add it . thanks

      thanks for that i just wasent sure if it was important to add it and weathe it would effect the taste of the wine .cheers .

        Suprised it cleared without it! But that must mean you made a good job of degassing I should think.

          oohyae tell my arms aboutit.I have now bottled it and chillrd the 3/4 bottel left over for testing . not quiet the taste i have had before but i will try and let it rest for about 12 weeks befor trying again .

            Just finished a Beaverdale chardonnay and didn't need to use any of the clearing aids chitosen etc it cleared on its own which made the wife happy being a vegetarian if it dosen't need it then don't use it. Will be off to Karls very soon for another batch very nice wine .Just not getting chance to age much
