I bought this because it was discounted and I needed to make a minimum order value to get free shipping
First of all, I have never really been a fan of German wines - I was brought up when German = Liefraumilch, and I was never subsequently re-educated.
Making the kit is pretty standard stuff. The instruction sheet is easy enough to follow.
Mine was bottled today after just over 40 days. I have just tried a bit and I'm very pleasantly surprised. It is fruity, not dry, light, and generally a very pleasant drink - and that's straight from the carboy.
For the money (around £37 for a 30 bottle kit, but currently just over £29 from Wineworks) I would recommend this - probably the best white kit in its price range I have made.
More in a couple of months.
