Enolmatic degassing
Well here is a kit wine that was degassed over a year ago and has bulk aged ever since, placed it on a heat mat to get the temperature up and used my enolmatic to degass and filter it before bottling, can't believe how much CO2 was still in it!
I'm trying really hard not to get paranoid over this degassing business.
People keep telling me they have never degassed this much, or haven't had trouble with it, then I take some of their wine and give it a shake............Last edited by lockwood1956; 12-05-2007, 07:37 AM.N.G.W.B.J.

And a video from crackedcork (cheers dude) demostrating boiling stones and marbles being used to create neucleation points to aid with degassing.
