I've found the recipe at last. It's called Barley wine but I leave you to judge.
1/2 Kilo Barley
1/2 pint Grape concentrate
Juice of 2 lemons
3lb sugar
1 tsp Amylaze
1 Camden tablet
Yeast, nutrient etc.
I soaked the barley for 24 hours, then rinsed and minced, together with the raisins I used instead of grape concentrate. Can't remember the OG as I lost my notes, but as I say, it turned out fine. Clear as a bell, lots of body, (the raisins I think) and alcoholic enough for the OH to ask for more.
